Connectivity

GDS, NDC and LCC Connectivity

One technology layer between every content source you buy from and every channel you sell through.

Most travel businesses do not have a content problem, they have a plumbing problem: each supplier speaks a different language, and every new connection means another integration project. Aerobit is built as a supplier-agnostic layer so connections are configuration, not reinvention.

The content sources you work with

Aerobit connects the categories of supply a travel business actually uses, and normalises them into one internal model so your pricing, booking and operations logic stays the same regardless of source.

  • Global distribution systems for published and negotiated air content
  • NDC-ready architecture for airline-direct offers, branded fares and ancillaries
  • Low-cost carriers alongside full-service airlines
  • Hotel suppliers and aggregators, plus your direct contracts
  • Package suppliers, content providers and payment providers
  • Offline inventory and series fares loaded as your own content

Built to add and replace suppliers

Each supplier sits behind a common interface, so adding a source, replacing one, or running two in parallel does not ripple through the rest of the platform.

  • Suppliers searched in parallel with bounded response times
  • A slow or failing supplier degrades its own results, not the whole search
  • Supplier behaviour is monitored so operations can see what is happening

Distribution on the other side

The same normalised content flows out to your consumer site, agent portal, corporate desk, mobile experience and partner APIs.

What NDC changes, in practice

NDC lets airlines distribute richer offers directly: branded fares, bundles and ancillaries that traditional distribution flattens or drops. The practical challenge is that NDC content behaves differently from classic content at booking and servicing time.

Aerobit's architecture is NDC-ready: the platform models offers and orders rather than assuming every fare behaves like a classic booking, so airline-direct content can sit beside existing sources without a separate system.

Offline inventory and negotiated content

Not all inventory comes from an API. Series fares, group blocks, contracted hotel allocations and privately negotiated rates are commercial assets, and they belong in the same search as live content.

  • Negotiated air and hotel contracts loaded as your own inventory
  • Series fares and group allocations with their own controls
  • Offline inventory sold through every channel, like any other content
  • Offline flight deals managed in the back office, with a change history, stock rules and bookings traceable back to the deal

When a supplier misbehaves

Suppliers time out, rate-limit and return errors. A platform that treats every supplier as reliable passes those failures to the customer. Aerobit bounds each supplier call, keeps searches parallel, and returns what is available rather than failing the whole search, while recording supplier behaviour so operations can see patterns. When a ticketing outcome is unclear, the booking is parked and checked against the supplier instead of being repeated, and the supplier’s own booking reference is shown where one exists.

Supplier Connectivity FAQs

Which suppliers can Aerobit connect to?

Aerobit is supplier-agnostic: GDS, airline NDC, low-cost carriers, hotel suppliers and aggregators, package suppliers, content providers and payment providers. The specific connections are set up for each business and its contracts.

Do we need our own supplier contracts?

Commercial agreements stay between your business and its suppliers. Aerobit provides the technology layer that connects them to your sales channels.

What is the difference between GDS, NDC and LCC content?

GDS content comes through global distribution systems and covers many airlines in a standard format. NDC is an airline-direct standard that carries richer offers such as branded fares and bundles. LCC content comes straight from low-cost carriers, usually with ancillary-led pricing. Aerobit connects all three behind one search.
